The fan filter unit(FFU) is an electric device that provides clean, filtered air to the cleanroom. Air is drawn through a fan, through a pre-filter, and then through a HEPA or ULPA filter ensures a clean and treated air supply. The use of FFUs to provide locally clean air is a more energy efficient route than the use of conventional air handling units (AHU) and is more commonly used in modern cleanroom designs. In recent years, the purification air conditioning system also uses FFU for air supply. In this way, the air is sent to the clean room by FFU and returned to the supply air plenum from the return air plenum through the passageway on both sides. A dry surface cooler is set in the return air passageway to deal with the load in the clean room. The fresh air processor can be centralized in the air conditioner room, and the fresh air is directly sent to the air supply plenum after treatment. This kind of air supply has strong adaptability, more environmental protection and energy saving.
